Our Team

Our church has an amazing team that is committed to helping others. Our daily fellowship and the freedom of the Holy Spirit are very real in our lives and in our services.  Think you would be a good fit?  We look forward to meeting you!

Our History

Hungry people who have come together to grow in the knowledge and gifts that the Lord has to offer His children.  We come from different backgrounds but we all have the same goal - to please God in all we say and do and lead others who are hungry.

Our Mission

To make a difference for the kingdom of God.  To make a difference in peoples lives and to aid others in finding true principals of Godly living.  To serve and worship Him to our fullest.  To reach our community and show them the goodness of God.

Rick And Gay Lynn Parton

Pastors Rick and Gay Lynn Parton were both raised in Kansas City Mo and graduated
from the same high school, but never really met until they were out of school.

They have two children who have blessed them with seven beautiful grandchildren.

Rick and Gay Lynn have both served in ministry most of their lives. Rick in his home
church from the age of thirteen, playing drums and working in kid’s church. Gay Lynn
started playing the piano at the age of 10, traveling the evangelistic field with her mother
and siblings.

For 39 years they have served as youth ministers, music ministers, associate pastors, and
the now pastor The Hill Church River Valley.
Their hearts have always been to work for the King in His kingdom, no matter what the
call and no matter where the call.
Rick and Gay Lynn strive to please the Lord and hold in their hearts the lyrics to a Rita
Springer song, “If you say go we will go. If you say wait we will wait. If you say step
out on the water, and they say it can’t be done, we will fix our eyes on you and we will
come.”
“ If God is not orchestrating, we will put our instruments down.”
